As the mother of triplets, a divorcee after 15 years of marriage, a cancer survivor and a survivor of intimate partner abuse, my life has been anything but simple. However, using the tools that I now teach in my program, I learned how to transform my life, empower myself to achieve amazing things and live a life that is truly full of joy..and I CAN TEACH YOU TOO!

A BIT ABOUT NATASHA
I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 12 years experience. My expertise is working with children, adolescents and families. I work with clients experiencing depression, ADHD, anxiety and trauma, as well as anger, grief and loss, and family/relationship issues. I work with parents and children who were victims of domestic violence. I counsel parents struggling with managing their families and careers, blended families and divorce, and those who are dealing with parent-child conflicts.
My counseling style is genuine, transparent and communicative. My compassion and genuine concern are always demonstrated in the work that I do. My modalities include cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, solution-focused approaches and motivational interviewing. I also utilize trauma-focused care and TF-CBT.
I believe in a collaborative relationship with my clients. Goals are set collaboratively and are mutually agreed upon. My clients control the outcome of their care, with my guidance and encouragement. The therapeutic alliance is the foundation of progressive work and successful outcomes in therapy. I also believe in an integrative approach, one based in science, and one based in understanding that physical, spiritual, environmental factors and lifestyle play a vital role in mental health.
